These Doobie Awards have nothing to do with the Doobie Brothers.
Well… maybe tangentially they do.
It seems the beloved Sheepdogs have been nominated for a couple of High Times magazine’s Doobie Awards , for Best Alternative/Indie Artist and for Best New/Underground Artist. Prizes will be awarded this Sunday during the SXSW Festival. Rumour has it the trophy for the awards is actually a bong. Hope they can still clear customs if they win!
